FORECAST:
“Get the water bottles ready, this week is going to be brutal,” Chief Meteorologist John Ahrens said on Monday afternoon.
Highs will be in the mid-90s with heat index values near 100 degrees each day this week.
We may get a few storms going Tuesday afternoon, which will help curb the heat, but it looks like that will be the only game in town to cool us down.
“Stay hydrated, friends!” Ahrens said.
