FORECAST:
- More hot and humid weather is in Tuesday’s forecast as highs climb up a bit higher into the 90s.
- Heat index values will reach or exceed 100 degrees.
- Storm chances stay quite low overall, but some far northern areas may see some late-day storms move in.
- Heavy rain and gusty winds would be the threats.
- We stay just as hot (if not even a touch hotter) for the rest of the week.
- Expect mid-to-upper 90s through Friday, and the heat index may get closer to 105 degrees by the end of the week.
- There will be only a minor temp drop by the weekend, but temps will still be in the 90s.
