FORECAST:
- A few storms are moving through the foothills this evening, but they should remain north of the metro and fade around sunset.
- The main story this week will be the heat and humidity, along with daily—but limited—storm chances.
- A few storms could be strong Sunday with damaging wind gusts, although the greatest storm coverage should remain west of our viewing area.
- Highs will reach the mid-90s each day, with heat index values in the upper 90s.
- Temperatures may ease closer to 90 by next weekend, but meaningful rain chances remain limited.
