CHARLOTTE — The Cheesecake Factory could invest over $7 million into its new Concord Mills restaurant, which is slated to open this winter.

The fast-casual brand — part of The Cheesecake Factory Inc. — confirmed plans for 8111 Concord Mills Blvd. It will transform a former Kirkland’s Home store into a roughly 6,925-square-foot restaurant with a 1,325-square-foot patio.

“Charlotte is a thriving, growing market, and Concord Mills is the region’s premier shopping, dining and entertainment destination — making it a strong fit for The Cheesecake Factory’s continued growth,” says Alethea Rowe, the company’s senior director of public relations.
