York County road closed for hours due to 4-vehicle crash

YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A serious crash involving four vehicles is under investigation in York County Tuesday night.

It happened after 7:30 p.m. on Highway 557 near Bethel Church Road.

According to the sheriff’s office, the roadway is expected to be closed for nearly four hours.

Drivers are asked to use North Parham Road as a detour.
