HORRY COUNTY, S.C. — Video from Horry County, South Carolina, shows a waterspout develop offshore.
Storms across the area Thursday brought heavy rain, frequent lightning, and rotation, causing the offshore tornado.
Our partners in Myrtle Beach, WPDE, reported there were multiple reports of waterspout sightings along the Grand Strand. Sightings were reported in Murrells Inlet, Garden City, and Myrtle Beach.
