LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Lancaster County.
Troopers said the crash happened Sunday morning on Highway 903 at Hilldale Drive at Flat Creek Road in Lancaster.
Trooper say 84-year-old John Helms, of Heath Springs, was driving the moped when he pulled out in front of an SUV. He died at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation. So far, no charges have been filed.
