The tractor-trailer, which officials say was hauling liquor, overturned and was blocking the road on its side.
The original crash site was cleared before noon, but minutes later, the semi-trailer rolled over again while it was being towed by a wrecker at the Oakdale Road roundabout north of I-485. That accident blocked the roundabout lanes briefly until the truck was tipped upright again around 12:45 p.m.
MEDIC says one person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
