School districts adjust schedules for Thursday as freezing conditions persist

School districts are adjusting their plans for Thursday due to persistent cold weather conditions.

Temperatures are not expected to rise above freezing on Wednesday, leaving the sun as the only source to thaw roads. Any moisture that remains will refreeze quickly this evening as temperatures drop back into the teens.

The forecast indicates that temperatures will finally rise above freezing on Thursday with a warming trend expected to continue into the weekend. By Friday, temperatures are predicted to reach the 40s, and near 50 degrees by the weekend.
