CONCORD, N.C. — The Concord Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a man who’s been missing since Saturday.
Kent Reid was last seen on Feb. 1 around 11 a.m. at the Rider Transit Center in Concord getting onto a bus headed for Charlotte, according to police.
The 67-year-old was planning to go to Charlotte to get a copy of his birth certificate and never returned home, police said.
Family members said Reid often visits the Tryon area of Charlotte. According to loved ones, Reid has schizophrenia and is not currently taking his medication.
Police said he was last seen wearing a black and gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and black Nike sneakers. He’s described as six feet tall and weighs about 165 pounds.
Anyone with information about where Reid could be is asked to call 911 or the Concord Police Department at 704-920-5000.
