CHARLOTTE — Drivers were told to expect delays Tuesday afternoon due to pipe repairs at multiple intersections on Providence Road.
One outbound lane of Providence was closed Tuesday near Vernon Drive and is expected to remain closed through Friday afternoon.
Channel 9′s Mark Taylor alerted drivers to the issue Tuesday morning.
Additionally, the inbound left lane at the intersection of Sardis and Fairview roads was blocked, but officials with Charlotte Water hoped to have it reopened by the afternoon rush Tuesday.
