LAKE LURE, N.C. — People in Lake Lure are vowing to resurrect a popular attraction that was damaged beyond repair during Helene.
A task force is working to design new gardens for the Flowering Bridge on Lake Lure.
Demolition for the bridge started on Monday.
Crews are using salvaged plants from the old garden to help create the new one.
