CONCORD, N.C. — Hendrick Motorsports appears to be teeing up yet another significant manufacturing investment adjacent to its Concord campus.
This week, Concord City Council is scheduled to consider an incentives grant for HSREI LLC, which is affiliated with Hendrick. The entity is proposing an investment between $65 million and $70 million to develop a 204,045-square-foot building in Concord.
The two-story facility at 4295 Defender Way would be built on a 10-acre site and designed to “attract a premier manufacturing tenant,” city documents show.
