Man dead after crash in Gastonia, troopers say

GASTONIA, N.C. — A man is dead after a crash in Gastonia late Tuesday night, troopers said.

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, it happened around 10 p.m.

Troopers said the driver crashed into a tree on Union Road, near Beaty Road.

We’re asking highway patrol for more information about the victim and what led up to the crash.
