Large police presence reported in west Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — A large police presence has been reported in a west Charlotte neighborhood.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to an incident on the 2800 block of Denview Lane around 10 p.m.

Channel 9 crews spotted several police vehicles in the area, along with crime scene tape surrounding a home.

However, no additional details have been made available.
