Lake Norman approves development of over 200 homes

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — More than 200 new homes are set to be built in the Lake Norman area following unanimous approval from commissioners, according to the Charlotte Observer.

The approved plans include 234 townhomes, with 68 to be constructed along Shadowbrooke Lane and 166 along Landis Highway at Azalea Road.

These homes are expected to sell for approximately $500,000 each.

Currently, there is no timeline for when the groundbreaking will occur.

The development is poised to significantly increase housing availability in the Lake Norman area, although the start date for construction remains uncertain.
