BELMONT, N.C. — The Jonas Brothers’ aunt pleaded guilty to stealing from the family’s restaurant in Belmont.
Joy Auten, the former manager of Nellie’s Southern Kitchen, will spend the next six months on house arrest, according to court documents.
Police said in 2024 that she pocketed $250,000 claimed as unpaid tips. Of that, $93,000 went directly into her personal account. She agreed to a settlement on Friday.
