CHARLOTTE — As the heat and humidity return to the Carolinas, that means it’s also bug season.
Mosquitoes are really starting to pop up as temperatures stay consistently warm.
They thrive in wet conditions and stagnant water. This is a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes.
I spoke with an entomologist about their life cycle and how this year’s dry stretch could impact the mosquito population.
