CHARLOTTE — Wilfried Zaha, a former Premier League star, has joined Major League Soccer’s Charlotte FC on loan from Galatasaray, with the agreement lasting until January 2026, the club announced on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old winger, who previously played for Crystal Palace, will occupy a Designated Player slot at Charlotte FC. Zaha’s loan includes an option to extend his stay until June 2026, providing the MLS club with flexibility in retaining his services.
Before joining Charlotte FC, Zaha was on loan at Lyon in France’s Ligue 1, where he struggled to make a significant impact.
