CHARLOTTE — A jury handed down a guilty verdict Tuesday for the driver who slammed into an ambulance at 100 mph.
A judge sentenced Brian Ogbanna to at least four years in prison followed by probation for the crash.
In 2023, Ogbanna said he was heading to the UNC Charlotte library when he lost consciousness.
One of the EMTs in the ambulance told Channel 9 they are relieved but saddened by the situation.
