Crews respond to fire on Interstate 77

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Crews responded to a car fire on Interstate 77 Thursday afternoon.

A viewer sent photos to Channel 9.

You can see flames and smoke coming from one vehicle on the right shoulder.

We are asking officials what happened and if the driver is okay.
