CORNELIUS, N.C. — A boutique hotel is one step closer to breaking ground.
Commissioners in Cornelius passed a rezoning request Monday night. The Cornelius Inn would sit at the corner of Mayes Road and Sam Furr Road.
A developer wants to build a two-story hotel, rental cottages and a spa.
It’s the same developer who proposed the Lagoona Bay project in 2023.
