Comedian Jon Reep’s attorney appears in court

CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — On Monday, an attorney appeared at the Catawba County courthouse on behalf of comedian Jon Reep.

Reep turned himself in to the authorities for child sex crimes last week.

He is accused of possessing and duplicating child sexual abuse material.

Reep is out on bond, and his show last Friday night was canceled.

His website and social media have also been taken down.
