HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — A Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer was involved in a serious crash in Huntersville Tuesday.
The vehicles collided around 9 p.m. in Huntersville near Statesville Road and Alexandria Road.
Channel 9 crews observed a CMPD car with front-end damage and deployed airbags.
One person involved is being treated for serious injuries, MEDIC said.
No additional details have been made available.
