It occurred around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Community House Road and Upper Avenue.
At the scene, police found 45-year-old Vidal Zinczuk in the roadway with life-threatening injuries. He would later die from those injuries.
A Chevrolet Express van with damage to the front end was also found near Zinczuk.

Police said that the driver, however, was not injured. It is unclear if any charges will be filed.
The investigation into this incident is active and ongoing. Toxicology results for Zinczuk are also pending, according to CMPD.
