CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has identified the victim in an east Charlotte death investigation.
The victim is Thomas Montague Carter, 54.
On Saturday police responded to a call along Central Avenue around 4 p.m. When they arrived, they found Carter with head trauma.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The department’s homicide unit is part of the investigation.
