CHARLOTTE — Hurricane Helene’s main threat was major flooding, but when a storm hits the Piedmont, there are other threats that we usually face.
Severe Weather Team 9’s Keith Monday says Charlotte can see flooding issues, too, but the intense winds that accompany a hurricane or tropical storm can compound that issue.
