CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Checkers are headed back to Charlotte with a two-nothing series lead in the Eastern Conference finals.
The Checkers won again tonight, topping the Laval Rockets Wednesday night, 5-2.
Trevor Carrick had a hand in three of those points, for a postseason career high.
From here, the series shifts back to Charlotte this Sunday for game three of the seven-game series.
The Checkers are on a six-game win streak.
