IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Commissioners unanimously approved a $123 million bond to build a new high school in Iredell County.
Voters approved the money for Weathers Creek High School in Troutman in 2020.
It will be built on Overcash Road.
The first phase includes the construction of the school and grading for the athletic fields.
Construction is expected to take two and a half years.
