Kings Mountain Wide Receiver “Tex” Vaughn moved to Shelby when he was in the 7th grade.
It wasn’t easy, but Vaughn quickly found his community and has been a standout player since entering the high school ranks.

Once he switched positions to the wide receiver spot, he never looked back.
