CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Firefighters are working to determine what caused a massive fire at a house under renovation in east Charlotte Tuesday morning.
It happened just after 8 a.m. on Caldwell Road near Brookwood Road and Interstate 485.

When firefighters got there, they saw heavy fire coming from the attic of the home.
In a video posted by the Charlotte Fire Department, you could see flames coming from the sides of the house and out of the roof and heavy smoke pouring from the windows.

Authorities have not said what caused the fire and how much damage it did to the home. Charlotte Fire said it took 23 firefighters around 45 minutes to control the blaze, and no injuries were reported.
