BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. — Two missing brothers out of Brunswick County have been found safe after an Amber Alert was issued for them Friday morning.
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office was looking for Chance Tyler Wilcox and Wyatt Christopher Mark Wilcox.
The boys are believed to be with their father, 35-year-old Brandon Mark Wilcox, in violation of a court-issued nonsecure custody order. He has since been taken into custody.
The sheriff’s office says more information about charges will soon be made available.
