67-year-old woman reported missing in southeast Charlotte found safe

CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Fire Department has found a 67-year-old woman who was reported missing on Friday night.

Joyce Kerney had last been seen near Latrobe Drive and North Wendover Road in southeast Charlotte.

She was wearing a grey short-sleeve shirt, black jeans, and black sneakers, according to firefighters.

CFD said the woman was safely located on Saturday morning. She was medically evaluated as a precaution.
