CHARLOTTE — Two people were found shot to death Wednesday afternoon at a southeast townhome complex, paramedics confirmed.
Homicide detectives responded to the Waterford Townhomes off Village Lake Drive at about 12:20 p.m.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Deparment said they are not looking for any suspects in this case.
Officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call.
“We located two victims who had succumbed to gunshot wounds,” said Maj. Gene Lim.
He didn’t confirm it was a murder-suicide.
“I can’t confirm anything,” Lim said. “I can tell you that, based on our initial investigation, we’re not looking for anybody else.”
No additional details have been made available.
