CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police arrested one man in a shooting near a shopping center in southeast Charlotte Thursday night.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. outside a restaurant on Sardis Road North, which is near Independence Boulevard.
Daniel Castillo is accused of shooting Carl Lindsey.
According to a police report, Lindsey tried to steal Castillo’s property.
MEDIC said Lindsey was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
