1 dead in north Charlotte crash

CHARLOTTE — A person died following a crash in north Charlotte Wednesday afternoon.

It happened around 1:15 p.m. on Statesville Avenue near Interstate 85.

According to MEDIC, the person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
